* ‘Overheads’ are administration and fundraising costs as defined by the ACFID Code of Conduct. Percentages are calculated from total disbursements, averaged over 5 years. ALWS aims to invest wisely in overheads to achieve maximum impact. However, possible decreases in funding, maintaining standards, meeting additional compliance requirements, and staff care mean this rate can fluctuate. Refer to full financial statements. Funds and other resources designated for the purpose of the aid and development are used only for those purposes and are not used to promote a particular religious adherence or to support a political party, or to promote a candidate or organisation affiliated to a particular party or to support welfare activities as defined by DFAT.

Donations to ALWS will be used to help people in the project or emergency appeal for which they were requested. Should ALWS receive income beyond what is needed in these projects or appeals, those funds will be used where needed most urgently to help free people from the ongoing danger of severe poverty. Information on this website is based on data correct at time of writing, and may change. All attempts are made to keep information current.

ALWS collects personal information about you when you are dealing with us.  The type of personal information we collect depends on how you are dealing with us.  We will use and disclose your personal information only for the purpose for which we collected it, and for other related purposes that you would reasonably expect. You can opt-out at any time using an opt-out mechanism in our communications or by contacting ALWS directly. A copy of the ALWS Privacy Policy is available at alws.org.au
