Hopefully it was just five minutes ago.

Yet do you know what’s amazing about the smiles in this photo?

These people were forced to flee their home in Congo after war came to their community.

They saw their farms and homes burned.

Loved ones killed.

Frail family members lost on the journey as they walked for days to seek safety in Burundi.

They arrived hungry. Tired. Scared.

Yet look at them now.

So full of joy.

Why?

Because of kind people like you.
