Awareness Week 2017

Welcome to the Awareness Week resource web pages for 2017!  We hope  that you have the chance to use the materials to teach and encourage  your students to be part of service and development work in our world.

Please don't hesitate to contact ALWS if you would like to see something else included in the Awareness Week materials or if you need any of the materials modified to suit your situation.

Awareness Week:  13th-17th March or when suitable for your school community.

This theme will allow students and teachers to ‘walk in someone else’s shoes’ as they learn about why people in poor countries walk …. for food, water, health care, education, for safety and they learn about people living with disabilities and their ‘walk’ in life.

The Bible verse selected for use in Awareness Week this year is simply:
“...He has told you what He wants, and this is all it is:  to be fair, just, merciful and to walk humbly with you God.” (Micah 6:8)
