Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS) is the overseas aid and resettlement agency of the Lutheran Church of Australia. It is a partner with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea (ELCPNG) in the Church Partnership Program (CPP) in Papua New Guinea, funded by the Australian Government.


ALWS and ELCPNG are seeking a consultant to carry out a Disability-inclusion Assessment with a gender focus with the 7 partner churches in the CPP. These churches are at different stages in their disability-inclusive development work both organisationally and in their programming. The Assessment will involve in-country consultations with partner churches and other stakeholders, based in Port Moresby, Goroka, Mt Hagen and Lae.

ALWS is a child safe organisation. As a condition of this, the successful applicant will be required to sign the ALWS Code of Conduct and complete a Criminal History Check. 

Expressions of Interest should include:

  • A cover letter that responds to the requirements
  • A curriculum vitae
  • Names and contact details of two referees
  • Expected professional fee rate per day
  • Dates when in-country consultations could be carried out
