Long Drop Loo

Look what a loo can do.

Your loo is so much more than a place for doing your business!

Having a loo means ground water stays clean, and families stay healthy.

Children no longer need to venture into forests where dangers may be hiding.

And – especially for women – a loo provides privacy and dignity.

You can give all this to a family in Cambodia with a Long Drop Loo. Through ALWS partner Life With Dignity, you can provide:

  • cement
  • one squatting ceramic plate
  • one ring cover
  • meters of plastic pipe (21cm in diameter)
  • four well rings (100cm in diameter and 50cm in height)

The family contributes the labour and local materials, like palm leaves, for the walls and roof. This gift will (toilet) bowl them over!
