When a child in a country like Somalia has special needs, the danger is they miss out on a doctor and medical care. You support a child in a Displaced Persons Camp to be assessed by experts, and then supported to develop new skills at a Play Therapy Group. Mum, Nimco Ali, says this is a blessing for her daughter Jawaahir who has Down Syndrome:

““I am thankful for you taking care of my daughter and giving me hope that all will be well, even in times of despair. I am happy she will overcome everything.”
